France v Iraq = Pick: Home win

Hot Stats and Streaks

Each of France’s last six games saw both teams score.

France have scored 2+ goals in 14 of their last 16 matches.

Iraq have scored before half-time in four of their last five fixtures.

Iraq have picked up just seven yellow cards across their last seven matches.

Key Players to Watch and Missing Players

With his assist on matchday one, France’s Michael Olise now has ten goal involvements for France (G7, A3), four of which have come across his last two caps (G3, A1)! Amir Al-Ammari assisted Iraq’s goal in their opener, one of four goal contributions across his last five caps for his nation (G1, A3).

France look to have a fully fit squad, while Iraq have concerns about Ali Jasim.

World Championship – Round 2

Germany v Ivory Coast = Pick: Home win

Hot Stats and Streaks

Germany scored first in nine of their last ten games.

Germany won eight or more corners in five of their last six internationals.

Ivory Coast netted after the 80th minute in five of their last seven matches.

Six of Ivory Coast’s last seven internationals produced an odd number of goals.

Key Players to Watch and Missing Players

Kai Havertz’s brace for Germany against Curaçao means he’s now scored at each of his country’s last four major tournaments, while he’s contributed to seven goals in his last five appearances for club or country (G5, A2). Guéla Doué has been at the heart of the action for Ivory Coast of late, collecting a goal, assist and yellow card across their last two internationals.

Neither team reported any major injuries following their opening group games, while Elye Wahi can now feature for Ivory Coast after he was initially denied entry to Canada, having reportedly been arrested in France last month during a spot-fixing investigation.

World Championship – Round 1

England v Croatia = Pick: Both team to score – Yes

Hot Stats and Streaks

Only one of England’s last ten games saw both teams score.

None of England’s last six matches produced more than one first-half goal.

Six of Croatia’s last seven games featured over 2.5 goals.

The last ten goals in Croatia’s matches were scored after the half-hour mark.

Key Players to Watch and Missing Players

Harry Kane has been England’s go-to man at World Cups, netting eight goals across the last two editions, only two of which arrived before the 40th minute. If Luka Modrić makes an appearance here, he will join a small group of players to have featured at five World Cups. He opened the scoring with four of his last five Croatia goals, including in their final warm-up game.

England have a clean bill of health although Bukayo Saka’s workload is having to be managed, while Croatia defender Duje Ćaleta-Car hopes to have recovered from a back injury in time to feature here.

Free Soccer Predictions: Republic of Ireland vs Qatar Preview, Team News & Betting Tips

Free Soccer Predictions Republic of Ireland vs Qatar The Republic of Ireland continue their preparations for the future as they welcome Qatar to the Aviva Stadium for an international friendly on Thursday night.

Although the Boys in Green were left disappointed after failing to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, recent performances have shown clear signs of improvement under manager Heimir Hallgrimsson. This friendly match gives Ireland another opportunity to build momentum and continue their positive run of form in front of their home supporters.

Ireland head into the contest after a confidence-boosting victory earlier this month, a result that extended their unbeaten run within 90 minutes to six matches. During that period, Hallgrimsson’s men have recorded four wins and demonstrated much greater attacking consistency compared to previous campaigns.

The Irish side have scored at least twice in four of their last five fixtures, a major improvement considering they had managed two or more goals in only four of their previous 16 games before this strong run began.

Playing at the Aviva Stadium has also become a major advantage for Ireland. The hosts are currently unbeaten in eight consecutive home matches, winning five of those games and becoming increasingly difficult to break down on familiar ground.

Ireland will also take confidence from their recent meetings against Qatar. The two nations last faced each other in 2021, with the Irish recording an impressive 4-0 victory in October after the teams played out a 1-1 draw earlier that year.

Meanwhile, Qatar are using this friendly as part of their preparations for the upcoming World Cup tournament in North America. Their opening group-stage match against Switzerland is rapidly approaching, making Thursday’s clash one of their final warm-up fixtures before the competition begins.

However, Julen Lopetegui’s side arrive in Dublin struggling for consistency. Qatar have found goals difficult to come by in recent months, scoring two or more goals in only one of their last seven matches.

Defensively, the visitors have also looked vulnerable. The Maroon One have managed just one clean sheet in their last 11 games and have conceded seven goals across their previous four outings.

Lopetegui’s overall record since taking charge has also raised concerns. The Spanish manager has lost seven of his 14 matches in charge, while another defeat on Thursday would make it four losses in their last five games.

Despite those struggles, Qatar have at least shown some resilience away from home recently, avoiding defeat in their last three away fixtures. Still, facing an in-form Ireland side at the Aviva Stadium represents a much tougher challenge.

Team News

Ireland are expected to field a strong lineup as Hallgrimsson continues building chemistry within the squad ahead of future competitive fixtures. Several attacking players who impressed in recent matches are likely to retain their places.

Qatar could rotate their squad slightly with the World Cup approaching, as Julen Lopetegui looks to manage fitness levels before the tournament begins.

Predicted Lineups

Republic of Ireland Possible Starting XI:

Bazunu; Coleman, Collins, O’Shea, Doherty; Cullen, Knight, Molumby; Johnston, Ferguson, Ogbene

Qatar Possible Starting XI:

Barsham; Miguel, Salman, Khoukhi; Mohammad, Hatem, Boudiaf, Waad; Afif, Almoez Ali, Muntari

Match Prediction

Ireland’s recent form, strong home record, and growing confidence under Hallgrimsson make them clear favorites heading into this international friendly.

Qatar may already have one eye on the upcoming World Cup, and their recent defensive issues could become a major problem against an Irish side that has improved significantly in attack.

Free Football Predictions 25.05.2026 – Derry City vs Shelbourne

Free Football Predictions 25.05.2026 – Derry City vs Shelbourne

Match preview –

Free Football Predictions Derry finished runners-up in 2025, but Tiernan Lynch’s side have fallen short of the title race this time around, and come into Monday’s clash in need of revitalisation.

The Candystripes currently find themselves sixth in the Premier Division, where their meagre tally of 21 points has the club 10 short of the top three, and concerningly just two above Sligo Rovers in the relegation playoff spot.

Last week, Lynch’s side dropped points against bottom-of-the-table Waterford in a 2-2 draw, before going on to record a more commendable goalless stalemate against second-placed St Patrick’s Athletic most recently.

Those frustrations extended Derry’s winless run to five matches, and while some would point to the fact that the team were only beaten once during that stretch – a 1-0 defeat against Drogehda United on May 8 – as a source of hope, it would be fair to say that they have been consistently uninspired regardless of the opposition.

With that in mind, the Candystripes will see Monday’s showdown as another opportunity to relaunch their campaign, but considering that the hosts have won just one of their last five home games, (downing Shamrock Rovers 1-0 on April 24), fans will understandably be cautious.

To make matters worse, that five-match spell began with a 2-1 loss against Shelbourne on March 13, though supporters could take heart from their own 2-1 victory at Tolka Park last month.

100 sure win prediction today

Meanwhile, Joey O’Brien’s Shelbourne are also off the pace they set with their third-placed finish in 2025, but the club seem to have turned a corner prior to this clash.

On Friday, the Reds followed up their commendable 1-0 victory over St Pat’s by beating Waterford 2-1, courtesy of a stoppage-time winner from Sean Boyd.

That triumph saw O’Brien’s side record back-to-back wins for the first time in 2026, while also extending their unbeaten run to five matches, a stretch that kicked off with a 2-1 triumph over Dundalk and spans the month of May.

Taking maximum points against Waterford has Shelbourne fifth in the table, where they are now seven points behind third-placed Bohemians, and a more comfortable five above the division’s relegation playoff spot.

The Reds will be confident of success thanks to their improved form, and adding to that feeling will be the fact that they have been particularly strong on the road this season, losing just once away from home while coming out on top in five of their last seven.

Fixedmatch-house.com  say: Derry City v Shelbourne = Both team to score

Derry have struggled for wins in recent weeks, but that have remained notably resilient and are unlikely to be beaten at the very least.

Shelbourne have picked up some momentum after securing back-to-back league victories for the first time this year, but they could find themselves frustrated by Derry.
